Cultural Competency Training

We want to ensure our providers meet the unique and diverse needs of all members.

We are required to verify that providers have completed cultural competency training and to display that in our provider directory and Find A Provider tool.

All Sunflower network providers are required to complete cultural competency training, per the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). You can choose one of these training options:

HHS Think Cultural Health online session
Other continuing education on cultural competency
Providers' in-house cultural competency training, if available

If you have completed a cultural competency training, please use the form below to submit minimal provider information and attach the verification document (i.e. certificate of attendance, completion etc.).
