KMAP GENERAL BULLETIN 23124 (PDF)External Link
Providers are required to complete revalidations per the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR). The revalidation process allows for providers to confirm or make updates to their information.
During the Public Health Emergency (PHE) providers were not required to complete a revalidation application or pay a revalidation fee. The PHE ends on May 11, 2023.
On or after May 11, 2023, providers will be required to complete revalidations. The federal requirement for providers to pay application fees was reinstated April 1, 2023. See General Bulletin 23046External Link.
The Kansas Medical Assistance Program (KMAP) will send revalidation notifications either by email or mail. If your organization received a revalidation notification, please make it a priority to complete the revalidation to prevent a lapse in Medicaid enrollment and claims payment.
