Effective December 16, 2019, a Not-Otherwise-Classified (NOC)/Not Otherwise Specified (NOS) Drug Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) Code to National Drug Code (NDC) Crosswalk will be created and used to help providers correctly bill for drugs that do not have a pure HCPCS code when billing medical claims. This crosswalk is only for current and newly approved Food and Drug Administration (FDA) drugs that require the use of an NOC/NOS code due to lack of a pure HCPCS code.
