New Sunflower ID Card Effective January 1, 2024

In December, Sunflower Health Plan's KanCare members will receive a new member ID card from Sunflower. The new ID card will be effective on January 1, 2024.

We are sending a new card because we updated the pharmacy information. Sunflower Health Plan is changing its pharmacy benefit manager to Express Scripts.

What members should do now through December 31, 2023

Keep using your current ID card through December 31, 2023. Your new ID card won’t work before January 1, 2024.

What members should do on January 1, 2024

• Start using your new card on January 1, 2024. You will need the new card to get your prescriptions.
• Throw away your old card.

The front of the 2024 ID card includes the following Rx codes:

• RXBIN: 003858
• RBPCN: MA
• RXGRP: 2ELA
